Overview

The IDU-100kA/1P, 2P, 3P, 4P surge protector (hereinafter referred to as SPD) is suitable for use in TT, TN-S, TN-C, IT, TN-C-S and other power supply systems under AC 50/60Hz, 380V, to protect against lightning strikes or other transient overvoltages, and should be used as a level of lightning protection for equipment systems in areas with high risk of lightning strikes. GB/T18802.1/IEC61643-II.

Installation

◆ Installed at the junction of LPZ0B or LPZ1 area and LPZ2 area, adopt 35mm standard guide rail for installation, and the connecting quality of multi strand conductor is 2.5~35mm ²。

◆ Each pole of SPD must be equipped with a protection bracket for SPD protection of lightning current of fuse or circuit breaker, and short circuit protection after SPD breakdown.

◆ Installed in floor distribution box, computer, telecom machine room, elevator control room, cable TV machine room, fire control center, villa, residential distribution box, etc.

Main structure and working principle

◆ The SPD is of the terminal type, electric shock protection, internal fixed installation, and voltage limiting type.

◆ SPD built-in separator. When the SPD fails due to overheating and breakdown, the disconnector can automatically disconnect it electrically, and give the indication signal at the same time. When the SPD operates normally, the visual window displays "red", and when it is out of service, it displays "red".

◆ The SPD of 1P+N, 2P+N, 3P+N is composed of the SPD of 1P, 2P, 3P+NPE zero ground protection module, which should be connected to TT, TN-S and other power supply systems.
