Overview

The IDUT1-25kA/1P, 2P, 3P, 4P surge protector (hereinafter referred to as SPD) is suitable for use in TT, TN-S, TN-C, IT, TN-C-S and other power supply systems at 50/60Hz AC and 380V for protection against lightning strikes or other transient overvoltages, and should be used as a level of lightning protection for equipment systems in areas with high risk of lightning strikes. GB/T18802.1/IEC61643-II.

Installation

◆ Installed at the junction of LPZ0B or LPZ1 area and LPZ2 area, or installed with 35mm standard guide rail at the main distribution box (cabinet) of power supply lead. Connecting guide rail: Φ 6~35mm ² Multi strand copper flexible wire.

◆ The grounding wire shall be φ 16mm ² For the above double stranded conductors, the gradient shall not be less than 500mm.

◆ In order to prevent the failure of surge protector from affecting the safety of electric operation, two sets of IDUSCB backup protectors shall be connected in series.

Main structure and working principle

◆ The SPD is of the terminal type, electric shock protection, internal fixed installation, and voltage limiting type.

◆ It is characterized by impulse current (limp: 2.5kA), low residual voltage (Up: 2.5kV), etc.

◆ SPD built-in separator. When the SPD fails due to overheating and breakdown, the disconnector can automatically disconnect it electrically, and give the indication signal at the same time. During normal operation, the visual window displays "red" when it is out of service.
