Cable branch box cable cross mass to build island "power accelerator"

Under the cross sea bridge connecting Beilun District and Meishan island free trade zone in Ningbo, Zhejiang Province, six "power silver snakes" meander along the direction of Meishan island port area. In June this year, with the commissioning of the 110kV Qixing power transmission and transformation project, this cross sea power channel will provide continuous power to the port area.

In 2008, the State Council approved the establishment of Ningbo Meishan bonded port area, which is China's fifth bonded port area after Shanghai Yangshan, Tianjin Dongjiang, Dalian Dayaowan and Hainan Yangpu. In the same year, Ningbo Municipal Party committee and government made a decision on accelerating the construction of Meishan island.

In September 2009, all kinds of construction known as "Meishan" speed started on the island, piling started on more than 400 mu of storage land, more than 10 infrastructure projects started, and the power supply of the only 35kV Meishan substation on the island was tight, so the power construction was urgent. To this end, Ningbo Electric Power Bureau adheres to the principle of special affairs, a special electric power construction scheme tailored for Meishan island to meet the long-term development needs of the port area is constantly implemented.

Tailor to build island "electric accelerator"

Special power construction means that every link from feasibility study, design to construction will closely focus on the construction and development needs of the port area, which means more comprehensive, more detailed and more intimate construction and service. At the beginning of 2013, after nearly five years of efforts, the 110kV Qixing power transmission and transformation project entered the construction stage. In the face of such a fast-growing Island, environmental protection and resource conservation have become the tasks of Ningbo Electric Power Bureau.

"In view of the long-term development environment of Meishan island port area, the overhead lines in this area are undergoing" up to down "transformation." Project design director said. From the perspective of the long-term development of the port area, the conventional overhead lines are bound to have an impact on the landscape of the gate of Meishan bridge and the future development and construction of the areas where the lines pass.

For this reason, Ningbo Electric Power Bureau plans ahead, on the one hand, to transform the overhead lines in the development area into the ground; on the other hand, to use the 110kV cable with a cross-section of 1000mm2 for the extremely difficult cross sea laying, so as to improve the "regional quality" of Meishan Island with technical quality.

"In order to coordinate with the development of the island and combine with the load characteristics of the port area, we choose the voltage level of the distribution network in the port area as 20kV." The person in charge of the project design said that at present, the distribution station project of seven surnames power transmission and transformation on Meishan island is under construction.

Previously, in order to save island resources and achieve the best power quality, Ningbo Electric Power Bureau mobilized technical forces to expand the scope of research and increase the intensity of research, fully combined with the characteristics of Meishan Island, which is "long from east to west and narrow from north to South", proposed to build a 20kV smart distribution grid on Meishan Island, reducing the number of 110kV substations planned in the island from 3 to 2, thus saving lines to the greatest extent Channel resources and land resources.

Laying "energy artery" across the sea

In April, the transmission line project from 220 kV Xianxiang gan'ao line to 110 kV Qixing substation entered the most critical stage of cross sea cable laying. This short 1.1km has carried three firsts of Ningbo 110kV cable: the first laying of cable with a cross-section of 1000mm2, the first cable construction with the cross sea bridge, and the first installation of cable expansion joint device according to the bridge expansion joint. From the very beginning, the project construction is faced with various difficulties and challenges.

Both sides of meishandao bridge are expressways, and the cable laying space in the middle of the bridge is very narrow. Each cable expansion device weighing up to 5 tons is faced with the difficulty of being unable to be in place after it is transported to the construction site. "Brothers, dismantle it first, transport it to the bottom and then assemble it." Ye Yu, the leader of the cable team, raised his arms and immediately disassembled the cable expansion devices into parts that are easy to lift and move.

Crane, shoulder, a few times down, in this season is also showing a trace of cool, everyone has long been sweating. After the parts were transported to the designated location, in order not to affect the later construction, the construction team just "cat" in the narrow space for a whole five days. Like building blocks, they carefully assembled all the five telescopic devices.

After solving the equipment problem, new difficulties come one after another. On April 12, in the hunting sea breeze of the Meishan Island Bridge, the cable straightening machine just stopped, and Ye Yu and several construction workers laid out the construction scheme for discussion again. According to the previous work experience, we can use the relative position difference between the cable straightening machines to realize the bending of the cable. However, after on-site trial, it is found that the straightening machine is bulky and slow to take effect. It can only be constructed 100 meters per day, and the cable laying on the bridge is 6000 meters, which takes 60 days to complete. The whole project must be put into production in June. What should we do?

"We must find a way to complete this section of cable laying in the shortest time." In the fierce sea breeze, everyone heard Ye's firm voice. After more than ten hours, six solutions and dozens of tests, the construction scheme of using hand hoist as cable orthopedic tool was finally approved.

"One, two, three, up!" Ten pairs of green tendons, while tightening the chain block along the cable diameter, tried their best to pry the 9-ton cable. Six silver "giant snakes" gradually surfaced, and the simple and efficient construction also reduced the construction period to 10 days.
