Lighting switch is used to isolate the power supply or can connect or disconnect the current or change the circuit connection in the circuit according to the regulations, mainly designed for home, office, public entertainment places, etc. The following industrial electrical network Xiaobian will take you to see what are the requirements for the installation of lighting switches and where to install them.
Lighting switch installation requirements
1. Before installation, check whether the switch specifications and models meet the design requirements, and have a product certificate, and check whether the switch operation is flexible.
2. Check the on-off of the switch with a multimeter R× 100 gears or a ruler × 10 gears.
3. The insulation resistance of the switch is measured with an insulation resistance meter, and the requirement is not less than 2MΩ. The shake test method is that one test wire is clamped to the terminal block and the other is clamped to a plastic panel. Due to the large number of switches and sockets installed indoors, electricians can use spot checks to check the insulation performance of products.
4. The switch cuts off the phase line, that is, the switch must be connected in series on the power supply phase line.
5. The switch height error in the same room cannot exceed 5mm, the switch height error installed side by side cannot exceed 2mm, and the vertical allowable deviation of the switch panel cannot exceed 0.5mm.
6. The switch must be installed firmly. The panel should be flat, the panel of the concealed switch should be close to the wall and not tilted, and the spacing and height of adjacent switches should be consistent.
Lighting switch installation location
1. If there are no special requirements, in the same suite, the switch is 1200~1500mm from the ground, 150~200mm from the door, and the socket should be installed on the same horizontal line, and not blocked by sliding doors, furniture and other objects.
2. The selection of the position of the entrance switch is determined according to the user's habits.
3. The switch of the kitchen and bathroom should be installed on the wall on the side of the door outside the door. Mirror headlights, bath bombs should use waterproof switches, located in the bathroom.
4. For comfortable and convenient life, the living room and bedroom should adopt double control switches. One dual-control switch in the bedroom is installed on the wall of the entrance door, and the other double-control switch is installed on the upper side of the bedside table or in a more accessible part of the bedside. On both sides of the larger living room, a dual-control switch can be installed on each side.
5. Install a power socket with a switch in the kitchen to control the power on and off in time.
6. The dresser should be equipped with a switch.
7. The balcony switch should be set on the indoor side and should not be installed in the balcony.
8. The switch of the restaurant should generally be selected on the inside of the door.
9. The single-head or ceiling lamp in the living room can use a single-link switch. Multi-head chandelier, a light subcontroller can be installed on the chandelier to adjust the brightness as needed.
10. If the study lighting is a multi-head lamp, a sub-controller should be added, and the switch can be installed on the inside of the study door.
11. The position of the switch installation should be easy to operate, and should not be placed in a narrow place behind the door.
As long as we install the lighting switch correctly in strict accordance with the requirements, we can avoid various unnecessary line failures in the later stage.
