2. Purpose of the product
2.1 DC switch equipment, as a switch device, is used for the work of traction substation in the power supply system of urban electrified transportation (trams, trolleybuses) and to protect the power supply circuit of catenary.

4 product composition and power distribution device
4.1 product composition
The product consists of the following components
---One power distribution unit is located in the power distribution unit.
Spare parts and components are delivered according to the customer's agreement.
4.2 power distribution unit
The unit consists of the following functional units:
--Power switch device and main circuit components;
--Power system;
--Control system;
--Control and indication system;
--Lighting and condensation protection system;
4.2.1 power switching device and main circuit components
The switching device of main circuit is designed to prevent overload and short circuit of power supply and load, as well as operation control (SWITCHING) of load circuit. The shunt R0 installed in the main circuit is designed to control the load current.
The switching devices of the main circuit include:
----Q0 (DS16, single pole; electric holding) is located on the extraction element (hereinafter referred to as the trolley) in structure, which is convenient for routine maintenance, inspection and maintenance;
----Standby bus disconnector Q1 (hd18, single pole; with motor and manual drive);
----Earthing disconnector Q2 (type hd18, single pole; with motor and manual drive).
The output feeder is connected to the + 600V operation bus through the DC fast circuit breaker Q0, and connected to the standby bus through the disconnector Q1; the output feeder is grounded with Q2 disconnector.
4.2.2 power supply system
Power supply system is used for output, distribution and conversion of power supply voltage of auxiliary circuit. The power system includes the following components:
--Central signal centralized and positive interlock terminal xt10
--Miniature circuit breakers F10, F11, F12, f13;
--Switching power supply G01;
4.2.3 control system
According to the required algorithm, the control system ensures the operation of the power switch device and auxiliary mechanism, implements the acceptance and processing of operator instructions, and exchanges information with the centralized diagnosis and visualization system of the substation.
The control system py - 600 provides two-stage protection against misoperation in control and emergency situations (power distribution unit failure). Instructions from the primary controller are further protected by receiving instructions from the primary controller if they are prevented from being processed remotely. The second stage of blocking error action is performed by interconnecting the contacts of switching devices, mechanisms and auxiliary relays built into the control circuit of the brake.
Main components and components of control system:

4.2.3.1 use the controller to realize the following functions:
a) Receiving control signals from external manual control and remote control devices, processing of control actions and their formation;
b) State monitoring of power switch devices and mechanisms;
c) The power system control is py - 600;
d) Control external and internal interlocking and protection, and form appropriate control measures;
e) Record the events (control buttons and input control signals) of the power switch equipment, power system and controller. At the same time, record the time of receiving control action (including incorrect action), the type of control action, the execution time of instruction (failure), and the reason why the incorrect command cannot be executed;
f) Use the touch screen panel controller A3 to view the event archive or use an external device to view it.
4.2.4 monitoring and display system
The purpose of the monitoring and display system is to provide the operating personnel with the information of the switching power supply distribution device status, supply voltage (600V), working voltage (dc220v), whether there is load current and its size in the p-600, and whether there is an alarm.

4.2.5 lighting system
The lighting system is designed to illuminate the work area during the maintenance and repair work of Py - 600.
The lighting system includes:

4.2.6 condensation protection device
The condensation protection device is designed to protect the condensation at the temperature of Py - 600.
The condensation protection device includes:
----Controller CJ;
----Sensor CG;
5 structure
5.1 in the form of metal cabinet, py - 600k, and py - 6003 are designed in the form of metal cabinet, which is divided into three compartments: automation and control room, handcart room and bus room. The main components of the cabinet are shown in Figure 1.1.
In the far left or right DC switch cabinet of the series of power distribution equipment, the outer wall sealing plate is additionally installed. There are two holes on the side sealing plate of the cabinet body at both ends, which are used to connect the DC and AC grounding circuits.
If py-600 is installed in the middle of the cabinet line, it has an opening in the side closure plate of the bus compartment for connecting the main bus, backup bus, DC and AC grounding bus. The control loop cable and Ethernet cable in front of the control room are connected through the cable trough on the top of the cabinet.
There are two grounding circuits in the p-600
-----The first circuit, the AC circuit, is designed to connect the external grounding circuit, the sheath of the feeder cable and the internal grounding disconnector.
-----The second circuit - the DC circuit represents the sheath of the switchgear and is connected to the first earth circuit by a protective relay installed in the substation.
5.2 in the automation compartment, there are PLC controller, handcart control module, relay and contactor equipment, etc. In addition, there is also a terminal xt10, which is used to connect the signals between the units of Py - 600k, py - 600 and py - 6003, and to protect and interlock the devices.
The power bus room is installed with transparent polycarbonate protective curtain which is separated from the handcart room. When the trolley enters the working position, the opening on the protective curtain is opened through the lever mechanism to make the primary circuit connected.
When the car is pushed out, the small window closes the opening on the protective curtain, so that the car room is isolated from the bus room.
