During the research and construction of the UHV demonstration project, China's UHV equipment manufacturing enterprises have mastered the core technology of UHV equipment manufacturing, greatly enhanced China's influence and voice in the international electrical field, and achieved "China created" and "China led".
The State Grid Corporation of China pointed out at the 2015 annual working meeting that the State Grid Corporation of China planned to approve the commencement of construction of 14 lines in total, namely, "6 ACs and 8 DCs" in 2015. In 2015, power grid projects connected with foreign countries will be launched to build the "the Belt and Road" economic belt transmission corridor relying on long-distance, high-capacity, low loss UHV technology.
